University Professor announced as Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering

The has announced that Wolfson School of Mechanical, Manufacturing and Electrical Engineering, at 夜色直播app has been elected as a new Fellow of the Academy.

Professor Garner, who holds the Caterpillar/Royal Academy of Engineering Chair in Applied Thermodynamics, was among 50 new Fellows announced on 21 September. They represent the best of the UK engineering profession and have received their fellowship in recognition of their outstanding contributions.

Professor Garner’s research focuses on IC engine emissions control, engine in-cylinder flow and combustion, fuel injection and heat transfer. His research has been funded by a range of organisations and he has published widely. His research work has been featured in New Scientist and he has presented research on national BBC TV and radio.

President of the Royal Academy of Engineering, Professor Dame Ann Dowling DBE FREng FRS, said: “The commitment and energy of our Fellows is the lifeblood of our Academy. Our new Fellows join us today as the country’s most innovative and creative minds from both academia and industry. We look forward to working with them, learning from their successes and drawing on their considerable expertise as we continue our work to promote engineering at the heart of society.”

Professor Garner joins six existing Fellows at 夜色直播app, and comments: "I am naturally delighted to receive this honour that reflects 夜色直播app's great strength in engineering. It has been made possible by the huge support over many years from many University colleagues and our collaborating partners."
