We run hugely popular careers fairs, skills sessions, company presentations, employer pop-ups and more. For the first few weeks of Semester 1 and Semester 2 we run a series of events as part of our Careers Fests, designed to help you on your career journey. Hear from our experts in Careers Network and meet employers from a variety of industries, to find out what opportunities they are promoting, including graduate, internship, placement and volunteering roles. At the appropriate time of the year, all our events are advertised on and promoted widely across the University.

By speaking with employers face to face, you can gain inside knowledge about how organisations work and top tips on how to be successful in their application processes. Employer Events on Campus
Employers are invited to campus throughout the year and we organise a number of opportunities to meet a single organisation during a drop-in session, pop-up attraction, employability skills training, interview day, sector specific insight event or presentation. Look out for notifications of these events via newsletters and emails and to find out more and book visit .
Careers Events for You
To provide tailored and specialist events at the right point on your University journey, we sometimes run events in partnership with your academic school. Look out for these throughout the year.

External Employer Events
We regularly advertise external events that employers are holding. These are usually held online but are sometimes based in the organisation’s offices (a great opportunity to see where you could potentially be working!) These events are designed to:
- Up-skill you in their recruitment process.
- Provide inside knowledge on how to be successful in their application process.
- Tell you about the amazing opportunities they have available.
- Give you the opportunity to ask questions about their organisation and opportunities.
