Grenfell Tower and Remembrance: Understanding How Community Projects Commemorate the Fire and Appeal for Justice.

PGR Supervisors: Cristian Tileag膬 and Richard Bramwell

Penny’s research interests are in discourse, collective memory and social justice. They are interested in how community-led projects offer a space to help Grenfell-affected people come to terms with the effects of the fire and can also be a space where social justice is advocated for. How creating YouTube videos, quilting and music does commemoration and resistance work.
