Campus Sculpture Walks

Get to know ҹɫֱ²¥app campus through our sculpture collection on a lunchtime walk focusing on Central Park, Village Park and West Park.

Taking place on both 9 and 16 October, the tours will allow you to stop and take in some of our wonderful sculptures. These events are a great way to find out more about the layout and history of the campus and the University.

The first walk taking place on the 9 October and will make its way from the centre of campus down to West Park, taking in the student village along the way. You’ll stop and take in some of our wonderful sculptures. This includes a key work by one of the most important British sculptors of the twentieth century, one of the UK’s tallest bronze sculptures, and pieces by current and former staff and students at the University.

On the 16 October will make its way from the centre of campus down to East Park. This will include a work by a Ghanian artist who made ҹɫֱ²¥app his home, a gigantic sculpture made from rare Swedish rock, and a couple of hard-to-find gems.

The tour will be step-free and follow paved areas. If you have any specific access requirements then please contact LUArts@lboro.ac.uk in advance of your visit and they will do their best to accommodate to them.

There are a limited number of places available for members of the public who would like to explore our campus and sculptures too.

You are welcome to attend both walks but places must be booked separately for each event. Find out more on the LU Arts website.
